I'm an IT infrastructure engineer with over ten years of experience keeping critical systems available, protected and recoverable. My work centres on enterprise storage (SAN and NAS), servers and virtualization, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planning, with Linux at the base of most of it.

I care about the unglamorous parts that matter most: capacity planning, careful migrations, and designs in which a failure never turns into a crisis. I've also led a small team, and I'm now extending my skills into Docker and the cloud.
