About

I'm Nahid, an IT infrastructure professional based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. For over ten years I've worked with systems, storage, backup and data centers: the quiet, often unseen work of keeping things running. I like thinking ahead and building things people can depend on.
But there's another side of me that doesn't fit neatly into a job title.
I write fiction in Bangla, including a published ebook, review books on my YouTube channel, Margin and Meaning, and take photographs. I'm drawn to the stories hidden in ordinary places and everyday moments. Books help me see the world through other people's eyes; writing gives me a way to make sense of my own; and photography helps me notice things I might otherwise pass by.
This website is a home for these different parts of my life: the technical work I know, the stories I write, the books I read, and the photographs I collect along the way. I'm not trying to fit everything into one identity. I'm just making room for the things that matter to me, and sharing some of them here.
Welcome. I'm glad you're here.
